The RC-902 was Shimano's flagship S-PHYRE race shoe, built around a full-carbon Dynalast outsole (stiffness rating 12/12 — Shimano's stiffest at the time) for maximum power transfer with a low stack height. Dual BOA® Li2 dials give independent, two-way micro-adjustment across the forefoot and midfoot for a precise, secure lockdown.

Fit & Construction

A 360° surround-wrapped upper blends microfibre synthetic leather with perforated mesh for a supportive yet breathable fit, while an anti-twist heel cup with a glass-fibre reinforced stabiliser locks the heel in place during hard efforts. A replaceable heel pad protects the carbon sole from wear.
